Athletics day

 Yesterday on the 3rd of November we had year 3-6 Athletics. My favourite activity was high jump, I almost made the 1.1 metre jump but my hand knocked over the bar and i came 5th. Anjola and Alan from room 6 went so high that we have to see who will win at school! When we started the 100m sprints i won the first heat and moved on to the semi-final, in the semi-final i raced against Anjola, Liam, ryan and dekovyn. We raced as hard as we could. Anjola won, then Ryan and I only just bet liam by a tiny bit. In the finals I was against Alan, Anjola, Ryan, Pavan and Jake. I knew I couldn't get in the top 3 because Alan, Anjola and Pavan were faster then me in short distance. Alan came first then Anjola and then Pavan, and then Ryan and I tied for 4th.

After the 800m it was time for the relay but there was a problem… Vincey went home! After Vincey went home we needed to find a replacement for the relay team, I walked around for a minute and then I thought of Milo Hooray! When it was time for the relay we made our way to the track and sorted out who was going when; I went first then Milo, melnina and then Mele. The reason behind this strat is that the fastest person goes last, the second fastest goes first, the third fastest goes third and the slowest goes second. Room 6 came first, Room 24 came second, Room 7 came third, Room 8 came fourth, We came fourth and room 23 came last. Then we packed up, got our stuff and walked back to school.

The ground began to shake. Birds sprang from the branches of trees in a state of panic as the huge figure crawled out from under the earth. The giant smashed trees into the ground and flung them aside, making his way into the building for revenge. Suddenly a masked hero leaped onto the giants back and with a single swing of his sword, he lobed off the creatures head. Occurrence of powers (if they have any): When David was a boy his father George Manchore was the head of the Manchore Tech facility. He was working on a new grenade that projected shockwaves. He could sell it to the military, but he made the grenade so that it could simply get people away from war zones, by detonating it would release shockwaves carrying people away. One day when David and his father were going on a camping trip, David found a prototype of the shockwave projector, he didn’t Know what it was so he took it in the car to fidget with. When they were halfway there David accidentally activated the projector, It Destroyed the car Killing David’s father. But in that moment David discovered he had mutant powers. He absorbed the power from the projector and developed all the properties of the projector.

Scary watch out story (The tales of interesting events).

Last week our class each wrote our own scary stories, this is mine.

  THE TALES OF INTERESTING EVENTS    The grizzling noises of Saturn hill were almost too much for its neighbors in the town of Moha county, if the old ditch of Mad canyon wasn’t there they wouldn’t hear half of it, so one unlucky day the mayor of Moha county had an idea. “If Mad county aint there the sounds that that savage man makes up on Saturn hill won’t disturb us” announced the mayor “Who is the man up on Saturn hill Mayor” Questioned the young new council member “Well young man we don’t know who he is only the elders know but they never say his name” “he’s probably just a crazy old man, nothing to worry about” “that's why tomorrow we are filling in the canyon.” The next day all the folks of moha county started filling in the canyon. By the end of the day Mad canyon was halfway filled up with dirt. In the morning everyone had arrived at the council hall for celebration, everybody except for the main elder, his name  was old man Greg everybody knew who he was and everybody noticed that he wasn't there. The dogs went out sniffing but only came back with a rabbit, the kids searched in all the houses and saloon’s and didn’t find nothing, the council only knew one thing: he aint in Moha county and he was too old and tired to have the strength to leave. Finally the mayor announced “ladies and gents we got ourselves a kidnapping.” So the celebration stopped and everyone just went back to filling up Mad canyon. The next morning the sheriff of Moha county Bill Goats went out up to saturn hill to go check for old man Greg he went by himself because he was the only one with the guts to go out there, the elders begged him not to go which was kind of alarming but they didn’t say why, so he just carried all on. That afternoon Bill's horse came up back to Town but when the mayor came to check on bill all he found was two long fingered skeletal hands tightly gripping the reins then as soon as he called the council to come and see, the hands slowly dropped the reins and dissolved. Suddenly Lightning and thunder struck through the once bright blue sky then amid flames and shadows the old man of Saturn hill arose and spoke “the time’s of Moha County and Mad canyon are over!!” then complete darkness enfulged the town and the canyon totally destroying them, then only Saturn hill remained even the old man of saturn hill himself was nowhere to be seen. And that's why i've been imprisoned here ever since in the roots of saturn hill all i could do is write this book.

Bradleys toys go on an EPIC adventure. I wonder what happens at the end?

Kia ora Blogers this is an animation that me and my friends made when we were learning about a boy in the girls bathroom. I think our next steps are making a part two. I enjoyed making the middle and end bit, but i wont spoil it. What i found challenging was  actually writing this blog post in our Cybersmart time .Comment down bellow what part you liked the most.

Nachos recipe

• • Sunflower Nachos recipe 
    • Dice one onion finely, mince three garlic cloves, grate one carrot and one courgette.
    • Heat  oil in a fry pan and fry onion until soft.
    • Add 500g of mince and the garlic and fry until mince is browned, then add the carrot and courgette to the pan. Fry for two more minutes. Add one cup of veggie stock, one can of crushed tomatoes, two  tablespoons of tomato paste and herbs and spices (you can use mixed herbs or mexican spices, salt and pepper). Reduce to low heat and simmer in the pan for at least 15 minutes (longer for flavour and a thicker sauce). 
    • Put baking paper on an oven tray and spread corn chips over it.
    • Grate cheese and sprinkle over chips. Grill in the oven for five minutes or until the cheese has melted.
    • Arrange grilled cheese corn chips on a plate to look like the petals of a sunflower. Place  spoonfuls of the mince mixture at the center to look like the middle of the sunflower. Also top with sour cream and extra cheese (and avocado if you want). Enjoy!

It all happened so quickly! One minute he was standing on the platform, the next he was hurtling through the air, hanging on for dear life. At least I still have my new nike air boots, he thought to himself. At the very same moment his brand new shoes flew off of his feet and landed metres behind him. "No!" Jerry shouted in anger and pain. "Hey, that's a cool camera to take selfies with" Jerry thought as he grabbed a flash camera from a man on the platform taking pictures. Then he suddenly realised that he wasn't in the train he was on the side of the train with his fingers stuck in the door and now the train was moving and headed straight for a tunnel!
